I recently had the distinguished privilege of meeting Professor Peng Liyuan, the First Lady of China, and Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. This remarkable encounter provided the opportunity to discuss the significant work Shilpa Sayura Foundation Foundation is undertaking in Sri Lanka to enhance STEM education for girls.During our conversation, I was able to share insights and stories about the positive impact of our NextGen Girls in Technology initiative. Both Professor Peng and Ms. Azoulay showed great enthusiasm and support for our efforts, highlighting the crucial role of advancing STEM education of girls.It was an honor to see our work recognized and encouraged by global leaders.
